Help your customers enjoy their experience

Your business website is a key element in how customers experience your business so if it runs slow and they can’t find what they are looking for straight away, and easily, they are likely to lose interest and go to a competitor website which works better.

The good news is there are some easy tweaks you can make to improve the customer experience on your site to bring people back to your business and enjoying their experience with your website.

Design your site for customers

When you are creating your site you should always design it with your customers in mind. Think about the navigation, the order of the pages, the logical flow of content, and the type of information which your customers will be looking for.

Have a home page which draws them in

Your home pageis where many website visitors will start so make sure you include all the vital information on this page – it can be by providing direct links to inner pages but it needs to be easy to navigate and clear for website visitors to follow.

Design with flow in mind

You need to make sure the structure of your site flows so that visitors can move from one section to another easily and in a way that makes sense. The structure should flow and make perfect sense to all visitors.

Clear navigation

Make sure your navigation – the menu at the top of your website – is clear and easy to follow as this is how people will find their way around the site. It should be easy and straight forward and made easy to move between pages and back to the home page.

Obvious contact details

There is nothing more frustrating than finding a website with the perfect service, only to find there is no way to contact the company. Having clear and easy to find contact informationmakes it easier for your customers to get in touch whether by email, by phone or in writing – as communicating with customers is ultimately the purpose of having a site in the first place.

Links to your social media

Make it easier for customers to connect with you and follow your social media posts by including links to all of your channels on your website – it encourages them to continue researching your company with ease.

There are many ways to improve your customer journey through your website and we always put this as the first and foremost consideration when designing new websites for our customers so if you’d like us to help you, give the team at LCM Marketing a call today.

All businesses want to optimise revenue. Your business strategy will identify ways of driving revenue; your marketing team will generate awareness and leads; your sales team looks at the most effective ways of converting leads to sales, and then your customer service helps to keep customers buying. Another key factor to consider is your brand.

If someone you trusted said to you, “I think we should rebrand”, what would be your first thought? Maybe panic, fear and an overwhelming feeling of not knowing where to even begin? You are not alone. A rebrand can seem like a mammoth task and one that you may think you just don’t have the time for, but you might be missing a trick.

From a young age we grow up immersed at Christmas in a fairy tale world of elves, reindeers and sleighs, and the ubiquitous image of a man in a red suit squeezing himself down our chimneys. As adults we still get excited about the magic of Christmas, the hope it brings and the joy of being a part of something magical.
